Abstract

This research article aims to propose a consulting system through the linkage between students from the Administrative Engineering Division of the Instituto Tecnológico Superior de Teposcolula and entrepreneurs located in the community of San Pedro and San Pablo Teposcolula, Oaxaca, from a Social and Solidarity Economy perspective.

The proposal arises as an alternative to address a real problem affecting entrepreneurs, particularly in strengthening the administrative, financial, commercial, and organizational capacities of small local businesses that operate with limited resources and have little access to professional consulting services.

The objective of this proposal is to structure a university linkage model that allows students to consolidate their theoretical training through practical experience under faculty supervision, while also improving the management of community-based enterprises through an administrative methodology (diagnosis, planning, and follow-up), without losing their business culture, which is grounded in the principles of the Social and Solidarity Economy. As noted by (Razeto, 1997), the solidarity economy is based on values such as cooperation, self-management, and the primacy of labor over capital.

The proposed model integrates four phases: identification of needs, assignment of student teams, development of consulting processes, and impact evaluation through indicators. Regarding the expected outcomes, the system is anticipated to contribute to the professionalization of enterprises, strengthen the social fabric, and generate sustainable linkages between the university and the community.
