Guanajuato towards a Social and Solidarity Economy: The Urgency of a State NODESS Network

Abstract

The state of Guanajuato faces significant economic challenges derivate from the global inflation and persistent inequality in the income distribution, generated by a capitalist model, these factors delimited the development of the most vulnerable sectors. Although some social enterprises have received financial support, traditional models often exclude social economy enterprises due to their legal and operational nature. This article proposes the creation of a Statal NODESS Network as a territorial systematic strategy. This proposal is based in a model of governance coordinated by a State Committee and formalized through an Integration Agreement, which links the academy, government agencies and social sector organizations legalized. The network seeks to enhance the identity and local economy generating a solid ecosystem of collaboration and fair trade in the state of Guanajuato.
